As a collective, our mission is to rebuild our businesses with our people at the center – prioritizing sustainability, longevity and collective growth.

At the end of my Matriarchal Business workshops and extended courses, whether live or online, the one question everyone asks is,

“How can we keep in touch with each other? Can I get everyone’s details?”

It would seem everyone is more interested in connecting with each other, than with me! 😉

But that’s what I love. This work attracts a unique caliber of loving, compassionate, world-changing influencers who are thoughtful and intentional about their impact.

We are health practitioners and clinicians, cultural experts, leaders in digital marketing, therapists, politicians, film makers, activists…business owners and professionals who play many roles in their communities as parents, partners, aunties and uncles, community members and global citizens.

What/Where/How?

It’s an online community matriarchal-business-community.mn.co where you can:

  • Connect with and support one other
  • Share our stories and journal together
  • Educate, discuss, and deepen our understanding of matriarchal marketing and business practices
  • Widen access to community / lifestyle / business resources
  • Participate in Vale Ni Talanoa
  • Continue to grow the community, and thrive in our businesses, together.

The support and resources within this growing collective is rich, but desperately needed by each and every individual in that collective, who is struggling from a lack of community support for their world-changing missions.

What is the Vale Ni Talanoa?

This is a a collective, story-led educational series on decolonizing life, education and business. With weekly prompts delivered live on Tuesdays (5mins), and unpacking them in story together on Fridays (45mins), we aim to:⁣

  • Challenge participants to re-orient their ways of relating in business, while unlearning harmful tactics & relearning healthy & efficient ones⁣
  • Allow for deeper understanding of self and each other, forming relationships within our business (especially BIPOC) communities⁣
  • Re-educate the business community on how to be in communication with their clients and customers through educational, consensual, inclusive marketing and business practice.⁣

The Vale ni Talanoa is for those who are ready to participate in that deeper decolonizing work in their business. You may join or opt out at any time. There is no way to purchase access, it is open only all Matriarchal Business Community members. ⁣

Request Membership

If you want to request membership to the Matriarchal Business Community, you can become a patron FIRST at patreon.com/clarinda which goes to fund our BIPOC scholar’s business education. Follow the prompts from there to request membership access.⁣

Remember we are BIPOC-centered and are a BIPOC majority community – however it is not exclusive. All answers when requesting access are reviewed and considered carefully, keeping in mind the safety of who we center.⁣

There are 3 questions to answer (after becoming a patron or attending a workshop) when requesting access to our community and discussions, like the Vale ni Talanoa: ⁣

1. Why do you want to join the community? (For all to answer)⁣

2. (For non-BIPOC only) What anti-racism work are you currently doing? Who are you following/learning from?⁣

And⁣

3. (For non-BIPOC only) What do you know about being in majority BIPOC spaces?⁣

There is currently a wait time for non-BIPOC – please be patient.⁣
